Here’s how we did it:
The impact of smart renovations
after a problem tenant
At The Moore Real Estate Group, we know which upgrades will increase a homes market value leading to a higher sales price and quicker close for our Sellers.
Turning a Tenant Transition into a Valuable Upgrade
When a long-term tenant moved out, we saw an opportunity to modernize this home and boost its value through strategic renovations. Partnering with our trusted contractors, we guided the seller in making cost-effective updates that enhanced marketability and maximized the final sale price.

Modern Upgrades for a Fresh, Stylish Look
The kitchen was updated with stainless steel appliances, replacing the outdated white ones.
The primary bathroom underwent a major transformation, replacing an outdated shower with a sleek, floor-to-ceiling tiled version. The old vanity was upgraded to new cabinetry with quartz countertops and modern finishes, improving both style and functionality.

Exterior Enhancements and Expert Problem-Solving
Throughout the home, we refreshed ceilings, walls, doors, and trim with a crisp, neutral white. Damaged flooring was repaired, new carpet installed, and outdated lighting and ceiling fans replaced for improved aesthetics and energy efficiency.
Outside, the home received a full refresh, including power washing, a fresh coat of paint, and a brand-new roof to address potential buyer concerns.

Fighting for Our Clients Every Step of the Way…
Once under contract, we navigated challenges with an inexperienced inspector and an HOA in transition. To address a perceived foundation issue, we arranged a structural inspection, reassuring the buyer. A delayed ownership change document from the HOA threatened closing, but through daily follow-ups with our preferred title company and coordination with the buyer’s Realtor, we kept the deal on track.
The result? A smooth sale for the seller and a happy first-time homeowner.
